LETTER #20 . . . MERRY CHRISTMAS miracles!

Hello all!!! Merry Christmas! This is a happy time of the year although i still don't feel like it's Christmas time because i have been getting sun burned the passed couple days but i'm happy and everything is good! 
For Christmas Eve my district did secret Santa and we all had 2 dollars to spend on anything and 30 minutes to buy which was kinda fun! I ended up getting great value maple syrup which made me happy because now i can eat my waffles haha. Tonight we are going to be with members because they actually celebrate Christmas at midnight on Christmas eve and then tomorrow we are going to go eat dinner with a couple that are sailors from Hawaii!! CHRISTMAS WITH GRINGOS!

Me and Elder Arnett have been working super hard in Gamboa and it seems that through hard work we are seeing and coming across so many little miracles! We ended up knocking a door thinking it was the door of a member and it ended up being the wrong house and a lady that was super depressed and going through a lot. We read scriptures and prayed with her and after we prayed and read the scriptures a light just went over her and she stopped shaking and it was a super cool! Also our super duper amazing family from Brazil that have been so prepared by God to talk to us are probably going to end up moving which is sad but everything works out for the best!

Family! 

I am going to be short because i will be talking to y'all in the morn but i am excited and kinda nervous to hear your voices ahh!!! I will be calling around noon your time and i will try to call you guys! I wrote everything down that i need to call. 



It is super warm here and then randomly will just start raining and being cloudy which is funny! i have a crazy watch/missionary tan line!! 

I miss you all and i hope you have a very Merry Christmas! Tell all the fam that i love them during Christmas Eve and Christmas day!!! I can't wait to talk to you guys tomorrow!!! LOVE YOU SOSOSO MUCH!!!

LETTER #19 . . . new comp and new investigators!!

Hello friends and family!  Miss u tons!!! This week i got a new companion and we started working super hard from the very first minute together! His name is Elder Arnett and he is from Arizona. i think it's kinda weird to be able to have normal conversation with someone throughout the day in my native language. I hope i'm not forgetting how to talk to people haha. This week we found and taught 11 new investigators in 3 days which are crazy numbers in Gamboa!! I think a couple of these people have totally been prepared for us and will get baptized! I have learned this week that if you want success that you have to face twice as much rejection. This week more than any other time in my mission i have seen so many doors slammed but also we met so many people ready for our message! Lesson= work hard + face rejection= success!!! LETTER #15 . . . HELLO Y'ALL!

Hi Y'All! This week i was getting my haircut with a cool member and I let him taze me with this cool police taser and my bum hurt the whole haircut so that was cool! :/  The weather is starting to get a little bit warmer which is so cool but it's still cold and rains just about every day haha!  I think it's hard for me to learn Spanish because i am trying to learn Chilean Spanish from a comp that's from Ecuador that mixes in Creole and English and Ecuador slang in his sentences haha but i am figuring it out and my Spanish really is SLOWLY getting better!  This week was really happy and the work is getting a little bit better because I am making my comp walk instead of taking taxis everywhere and we have been meeting so many people!! We try to go somewhere cool every pday but it's always bad weather but hopefully soon i will have cool pictures to show you guys!!!  I sometimes wake up and work out and just start reading scriptures for a couple hour...

LETTER #6 . . . last letter from Mexico MTC . . GOODBYE MTC!

Hello everyone!  Goodbye to the MTC and to this awesome district!   I miss you all and hope everyone is happy and healthy! The MTC is so humbling and has helped me so much to become disciplined but also i am going crazy just sitting here all day!! I check into recepcion to leave this place at 3am Monday morning and have an 8 hour flight to Santiago. When we get to Santiago we have a 21 hour layover and i think will be sleeping in a hotel. After the layover we have a 1-2 hour flight to Osorno and i am not really sure what happens after that but i will keep you all updated.  Bobo with Anne and John Pingree from the Seventy . . . guest speakers at their devotional! This week was by far one of the most boring weeks but i seriously still loved it so much and i am learning so much!
