Bobo's Mission to Osorno

Hello all!!! Merry Christmas! This is a happy time of the year although i still don't feel like it's Christmas time because i have been getting sun burned the passed couple days but i'm happy and everything is good!  For Christmas Eve my district did secret Santa and we all had 2 dollars to spend on anything and 30 minutes to buy which was kinda fun! I ended up getting great value maple syrup which made me happy because now i can eat my waffles haha. Tonight we are going to be with members because they actually celebrate Christmas at midnight on Christmas eve and then tomorrow we are going to go eat dinner with a couple that are sailors from Hawaii!! CHRISTMAS WITH GRINGOS! Me and Elder Arnett have been working super hard in Gamboa and it seems that through hard work we are seeing and coming across so many little miracles! Hello friends and family!  Miss u tons!!! This week i got a new companion and we started working super hard from the very first minute together! His name is Elder Arnett and he is from Arizona. i think it's kinda weird to be able to have normal conversation with someone throughout the day in my native language. I hope i'm not forgetting how to talk to people haha. This week we found and taught 11 new investigators in 3 days which are crazy numbers in Gamboa!! I think a couple of these people have totally been prepared for us and will get baptized! I have learned this week that if you want success that you have to face twice as much rejection. This week more than any other time in my mission i have seen so many doors slammed but also we met so many people ready for our message! Lesson= work hard + face rejection= success!!! Britt and his trainer! I miss my family and friends! LOTS! This week we found out cambios . . i will get a new companion tomorrow and i think he is from the states! I get to stay in Chiloe for Christmas which i am happy about! This week i finished the Book Of Mormon again and also read the book, Our Search For Happiness, and truly my testimony of the gospel has grown so much and I KNOW THE BOOK OF MORMON IS TRUE.  Anyone can find happiness in this gospel and truly this gospel is just a search for our happiness and the fact that millions of people can find their happiness in this gospel . . . and trying to live their lives as Christ did in and of itself is a testimony of this gospel to me!  Christmas time isn't the same when there isn't snow and hot chocolate and actually it's really hot here most of the time. Hi All, This week was a little crazy because the President over the South part of the South America missions was in my mission so we took a boat and a 3 hour bus ride to be able to listen to him in Puerto Varas! I got super lucky and got the chance to also go on splits with Elder Bingham, my companion from the MTC and my current companion!! It was crazy cool and it's also cool to see finally how everyone else in my group is doing with Spanish! Britt with his two companions in Puerto Varas! We don't have many progressing investigators right now but we are trying to contact more and i have met so many people! It shocked me to get here to find out how much of missionary work is with members and less active but truly that is what we are doing a good majority of our time! ALSO SERVICE, we end up just finding someone that needs help chopping wood or cleaning their car and a lot of the times that is how we meet people! I CAN CHOP WOOD SUPER GOOD HAHA!  A couple days a...
