Letter #44 . . . I'm so bad at writing lately!

Hello All,
First Mom, can you put some money into my bank account so that I can buy some new sweaters and clothes?? They are starting to get worn down and Punta Arenas is the best place to buy stuff in the mission!!! Pretty please! LOVE YOU! Also thank you for being so good at keeping me updated on the family. Even though i am not good at responding i truly do read it all and I love all the pictures! Also i cant believe that i have been out for more than 10 months now and that all these boys are starting to come home!!! MISSION GOES BY SO FAST!

hello i am going to write bullet points because i have hit that point in the mission and i cant write a well written letter!
  • I am in Punta Arenas and I am the District Leader over some missionaries in Tierra Del Fuego, Puerto Natales, and some other hermanas in Punta Arenas!! We do our district meetings over Skype!!!
  • OUR MISSION IS GOING TO BE THE GUINEA PIGS TO GET SMART PHONES IN SOUTH AMERICA! So in a couple weeks we will get nice phones which is so so crazy. i feel emotionally connected to these little Nokia phones!
  • It snowed today!!!! IT IS WINDY AND COLD BUT BETTER THAN THE RAIN!
  • My companions name is Elder Quille and he has a little over a year in the mission and is from Peru! We get a long super well and he is super buena onda!!!
  • This last week I had my last zone conference with president Isom and i was kinda emotional but seriously he has had such an awesome impact in my mission life and i feel in debt to him! His final words to me were President Howard W. Hunter's final words to his family " Leave the shower curtain on the inside of the tub." which was funny. i'll miss him.
President and Sister Isom are leaving!
  • Hermana Isom dropped a bomb speech on obedience as her final words to us and it made me so happy! I love obedience!! YOU REAP WHAT YOU SOW!
  • we have a couple people that are progressing well with the lessons and i know that will at some point become members of the church. Mariana y Jorge y Paulina! Pray for them that they will open their hearts to the spirit!!
  • Things that happened this week: i ate tacos for the second time in the mission! I touched the strait of magellan! I heard that the nba finals are still going on! We taught a lot of lessons and tried hard to give people a shot at their salvation!!
  • Things i learned this week: i am learning so much better how personal this gospel really is and how personal our salvation really is. The mission is 2 years of learning to be virtuous. What i am teaching is not what is changing/converting people to this gospel but it's the spirit, and without it, nothing i am doing or saying or teaching is working!

  • JEREMIAH 20:9. let the word be like a fire in your bones!!!!
  • I want to leave you guys with an assignment if you have actually read this far into the letter. STUDY VIRTUE!
  • I LOVE YOU ALL SO VERY MUCH AND I AM PRAYING FOR YOU GUYS! GOD KNOWS YOU PERSONALLY AND LOVES YOU!!! YOUR SALVATION IS PERSONAL, DON'T GET CAUGHT UP IN WHAT OTHERS ARE DOING BUT DO YOU AND DO WHAT GOD WANTS YOU TO DO!
  • Ps. New favorite chapter in the bible is Hebrews 11. It's by faith that everything is possible.
  • say your prayers! have a good week! DO SOMETHING TO HELP SOMEONE ELSE EVERY DAY!
